Mezu honen bidez, datorren uztailan Donostian ospatuko den "Fostering Dialogue and Collaboration among Minority Language Educators: Basque, Occitan and Irish within our Teacher Academies" udako ikastaroan parte hartzeko gonbidapenaren berri eman nahi dizuegu.
UIKren bidez antolatutako topaketa honek euskara, okzitaniera eta gaelikoa (irlandera) ardatz hartuta, hizkuntza gutxituen irakaskuntzari buruzko elkarrizketa eta lankidetza sustatzea du helburu. Irakasleen prestatzaileek, eskoletako irakasleek eta hezkuntzako beste agenteek eraldaketa honetan duten papera aztertuko dugu, esperientziak partekatuz eta sareak eraikiz.

A través de este mensaje queremos invitaros al curso de verano "Fostering Dialogue and Collaboration among Minority Language Educators: Basque, Occitan and Irish within our Teacher Academies" que tendrá lugar en San Sebastián el 10 de julio.
Dentro del marco de UIK y tomando como eje el euskera, el occitano y el gaélico (irlandés), queremos abrir un debate sobre la enseñanza de lenguas minoritarias y promover la colaboración entre compañeros y compañeras de distintas academias. Analizaremos el rol de la formación del profesorado, de los centros escolares y de otros agentes educativos dentro de esta transformación, compartiendo experiencias y estrechando lazos.

Lengua: el inglés es la lengua oficial del curso, aunque otras lenguas tambíen tendrán su lugar. Prácticas como el traslanguaging serán bienvenidas.

We are pleased to invite you to the summer course Fostering Dialogue and Collaboration among Minority Language Educators: Basque, Occitan and Irish within our Teacher Academies, which will be held in San Sebastián on 10 July 2026.
This course is organised by UIK and places Basque, Occitan and Gaeilge (Irish) at the centre of the discussion. We aim to open a debate on minority language education and promote collaboration among peers. We will analyse the role that teacher education institutions, school professionals and other education stakeholders in this transformation, sharing experiences, and building networks.

Date: 10 July 2026
Venue: Miramar Palace, San Sebastián (UIK) or online.
Language: English will be the official language of the course, although there will be room for all languages. Translanguaging practices will be welcomed.
Deadline for registration: 10 June, 2026.
